G35 Sedan TRACK Wheel/Tire Setup 17 X 9 , 17 X 9.5 +35 or +45? volk or enkei? Help!

Hi guys, I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons of an expensive volk setup, or a more reasonable enkei setup. The choices:

Volk Te37 or Ce28n, 17X9" +40 front, 17x9.5" +40 rear

Should these offsets be okay? I'm currently on a 19X8" +42, and 19X8.5" +48mm, dropped a good amount (2" all around), no rubbing issues, even on hard cornering.

Now, a set of volks like these will be about $2000, with a wait as well. Weight should be around 16-17 pounds.

-----

The second choice is the classic enkei RPF1..

17 X 9 +35mm
17 X 9.5 +38mm

Are these offsets too low? I'm running +42 and +48, and my tires (245 and 255) perfectly align to the wheelwell edges. Doesn't running a lower offset technically bring the wheels closer into the car? (Basically decreasing the track, even if just a few CM)

I would either run 17 X 9 all the way around, or stagger slightly with 17X9 and 17X9.5. The 17 X 9 is 15.9 pounds, the wider 9.5" wheel is 16.5 pounds. Essentially, the same, if not lighter then the volk wheel. A set of these wheels is around $1000. Benefit is they are also cheaper to replace, and should be easier to get without a wait.

-----

Tire choice is a 255/40 17 Toyo Ra-1 All the way around. The wider 9.5" wheel would be choosen so I could fit 275 or 285 rear tires if I ever went FI. I would still fit 255's on them now. Even though I wouldn't be able to rotate front and rear, my tires wear pretty evenly.

What are everyones suggestions? The volks are TWICE as much as the enkeis. I have already paid 2k+ for a nice set of 19" sf winnings street wheels, so, I'm not sure I want to invest in another set of volks. All opinions appreciated.

For track wheel I would go for Enkei. Its high quality yet affordable. Like you said it yourself, it'll be easy to replace. Volks I would use them for street car to pimp around town. But if you have the cash to burn then just pick whatever you feel like as both of them are good wheels.
