I'm about to get a 06 6mt coupe with the 19" wheel package which has the sport tuned suspension with stiffer spring rates, but I am unsure of what these are. The sticky lists 05's with the same package with 314F/427R, but it says for 2005 only, so I was wondering if this was the same rate for the 2006 models. The point of the question is that I would like to drop my G midly, and I was thinking of using 350z OEM springs, and from searching I think the correct models to use with the stock shocks are 04.5+ 350z stock springs to achieve ~.5"F/R. Can someone confirm this, and that the 350z springs have the same rates as the 06's with sport tuned suspension? Pics would also help, hoping .5" drop is enough and so that I'll stay within alignment specs.

 

search it people will recommand using Tein H-tech for the 350z

Can someone update the sticky to post OEM 06 (sport suspension) spring rates

 

Basically my question is the 06 sport suspension the same as the 05 sport suspension on the G, since the sticky at the top lists only the 05 having the stiffer rear suspension. This may just be due to the fact that it hasn't been updated, but I believe they are the same. I just wanted confirmation if this is true. The second question I had was are the 04.5-06 350z regular suspension using the same spring rates as the 06 with sport suspension, but are .5" shorter so that if I swapped my 06 sport suspension for the 04.5+ 350z suspension, I would get the same spring rates as stock, but yield a .5" drop.
