I purchased my 03 coupe with cross drilled 2 piece rotors on it. I am getting a pulsing from the front brakes and suspect that I need to have the rotors resurfaced (turned). Every place that I have phoned so far has said that they won't turn cross drilled rotors. Anybody have any experience with this? Can it be done?

It is harder with an on the car lathe because such units are not as rigid as fixed off the car lathes.
I've used drilled rotors on Q45 for the past 12 years and cut [fine trim 0.003"]them frequently about every 6-8,000 miles.
YOU MUST make sure that the lathe has a BRAND NEW BIT and reduce the feed time [slow it down] compared to non drilled feed rate.
Need to find a person who will take care and charge you appropriately!

Do I need to have it done on an "on the car" lathe? I just found a guy that would do it as you suggested (with a fine trim and slow feed), but he doesn't have an on the car lathe.
