Are you sure these are actually forged wheels? Or do they just call the color "forged grey" as a misleading marketing ploy?

They aren't forged, so yeah it is just a misleading ploy.

Regardless, I still love the forged grey finish and the style, so at this price, I don't mind if they're a cast rim and somewhat heavy.

Ok...I weighed the wheels/tires. Remember, the tires are already mounted and balanced on. Each wheel weighed in at 55 lbs. I would say that the actual weight is between 52-58. Not sure how acurate this scale reads. I also measured the lip. The lip on mine are 1 3/4 - 2 inches.

I saw the grey wheels in person at SEMA IAS. I am glad that I did not get them. They dont look good in person but thats just my opinion. I have a couple more posts that I will post up a little later.

I am afraid to wash them. How do I know if I have an anodized lip or something else? What should I use on them to clean them? Regular car cleaner?

Why didn't you like them? Was it the rough, non-shiny finish? Guess I can always go silver if it's really a bad color

The grey was not a good looking grey. It was not shiny at all. I thought it looked like it was dirty but it wasnt. That is just my opinion. I thought it would be like a gunmetal grey but it didnt look like that at all.

Thanks for the pics, they look great. After hearing your opinion about the grey, and seeing yours I'm gonna go with the silver finish. I hope the 9.5" rears have a nice big lip on my Coupe
