Now I'm going to swap out the Nismo G35 springs for a set of 350Z springs to see if I can get a better ride quality and maybe a bit less drop and get the suspension geometry back to stock without using a front camber kit.

I wound up installing a set of Koni's and made a huge difference in handling. The sway bars are ok but for the $$ a adjustable set of sways is better choice.

Do you still have the Nismo shocks on hand? I'd like to know the distance between the bottom shock mount bolt hole to up very bottom of the threads at the top of the piston shaft (I want to know if the Nismo units have shorter piston shafts vs the Koni's).

Unfortunately I don't have the S-tune shocks around anymore and my notes indicate that I didn't record the difference in measurements, as you requested. What I remember is that the Koni shocks didn't require a spring compressor to install the springs. Is that from a longer threaded bolt end or a longer stroke, I don't know. But what I can do is measure the front shock when I swap out the springs and see if we can find a set of Nismo shocks to measure as well. I will be measuring the stock shocks VS the Koni ones, though and report.
I'll definitely be checking the bumpstops when I'm working on the car. It could explain the loud suspension squeaking over speed bumps. I thought it may have been the lack of rubber coating on the top end of the Nismo springs VS stock springs.
Hope that helps

Gsedan35, I'm confused. I changed the rims yesterday and while the wheels were off, I looked for the bumpstops. I can't seem to find them on the coupe? Where should I be looking, because I don't see them.
Maybe the coupe and sedan are different?
Other than that, it felt good to drive the car again after so many months of winter hibernation.
