Just release the front 2 pc. That's where most of the weight savings are going to be. Would be nice to have weights of teh 1 pc / 2 pc for reference though

^^^ Coz mentioned it somewhere – I cant remember if it was here or on Z boards = roughly 18lbs vs 30lbs… significant difference.

I know, I know – we agreed not to comment to each other, but this seems harmless (somehow I feel I’ll regret it though).

I heard 26lbs but if Coz said 30lbs, so be it. It's not like I remember my source actually putting the rotor on a scale or anything. Coz probably has done just that.

To add, the early 03/04 rotors are about 15 lbs. The later 12.6" oem rotors are about 18 lbs like you mention.

the 18 lbs I mentioned though is for the 2-piece 14" vs 30 lb 1-piece 14"... so its worth waiting for the 2-piece.

These are the weight I remember reading... I suppose they could be inaccurate :dunno

Damn 14lbs vs 30lbs !? For a 14" rotor! That's lighter than an oem 11.5" oem rotor! Fantastic. Looks like you made an awesome choice on your bbk Mike.

Let me clear this up quickly before anybody gets hurt

1pc Stock or Stoptech Front Rotor: 29lbs
2pc CZP Front Rotor: 19lbs

I'll have more weights of all the rotors once these blasted rear 2pc rotors become avialable.

That sounds about right for a 2 pc 14". Still about the wieght of a oem 12.6" 05+ 1 pc rotor. Not bad!

Here are the exact numbers for all the front rotors:

1pc 03-05: 14.75lbs
1pc 06-08: 20.60lbs
1pc 09+: 29lbs
2pc 09+ 17.30lbs

Enjoy

you read my post wrong... it says 18 lbs vs 30 lbs (you must have got confused by the 14" referring to rotor size).

So, what are the chances of being able to buy just the 2pc front for now?

I have front untested ones available, but you're going to have to sign a waiver that if you die, it's not my fault

If you need more than one tester then let me know too! I'll be going to the track this month, I'll put them through a VERY thorough test!

G35 Coupe "Sport Package"
would anyone happen to have this Akebono brake setup with a set of Ro_Ja R2-5's 19x9.5 +19 and 19x10.5 +19? this is also the same as the old Gram Lights 57F Pro wheel, both by Rays.

the rears fit with no issues, but the template I cut for the front is just too close to call to make a purchase. anyway someone could test fit or let me know? I know I am asking a lot.

thanks to anyone who could help.
