Would you swap out the OEM pads for the Hawks? And do you think the HPS or HP+ might be a better match for the StopTech rotors? (and do you think the HPS are an improvement over the OEMs to begin with)

HPS would be $133 extra, HP Plus are $200 extra. I wouldn't recommend HP Plus for the Street, very dusty. But they are a good Semi Track Pad. HPS great for the Street, but not so much fun on the track. So if you do Daily Driving w/ Occasional light events, HPS. If you do weekend warrior stuff, HP Plus For Hardcore Track, Hawk HT-10s or Ferodo DS3000. Stoptech also has a Pad out now, but I haven't had much time to paly with them, but they are suppose to be similar if not better then the HPS Pads.

Hawk HPS, they perform a little better then the Ceramic Performance.

What about brake dust, noise, pad life, and rotor life?

Is the HPS is better?

CoZ- assuming the front rotors (StopTechs) are in the 29-30 lb range as are the pre-07 stocks/StopTechs?

Performance Ceramic has a lower noise and dust factor, plus they do last longer. They are more ore less a upgrade to OEM pads. HPS would be a performance pad w/o the dust or noise.

2pc Rotor Sneak Peak:

I just got these in Friday, they look beautiful. These are DBA 5000 Series Discs, and our own CZP 6061-T6 Aluminum Hat. These hats are based off the same tolerances and specifications that DBA uses for all their 5000 Series 2pc Rotors. We are going to test these for 30 days, and then put them into production with a release date to follow.

With our past experience, we tried to cut down the weight as much as possible, but we kept having cracking and warping issues. So we decided to go with more durable disc, and a thicker hat. The DBA Kangaroo Paw Design provides this stronger disc, but with more material, there is more weight. The combination of the Thicker Hat and DBA Kangroo Paw Design, each front rotor will weigh 22lbs, which is still 8lbs lighter then stock. We were thinking of going with a thinner 7075-T6 Aluminum, but then the price would almost double. But we are very happy with this setup now, mainly because of the durability and quality.

Hats are bare aluminum right now, but they will be anodized black or maybe a signature color if we get enough requests. There are no plans for rear 2pc rotors at the moment. Pricing looks around $650-700 per set, or $550-600 when sold w/ a Akebono Kit. More News to come

Those do looks sweet,

Any idea what the oem G37 rotor part numbers are? I've got the Akebono kit but without the rotors, I'm going to go for oem G37 ones for now but I'm not sure about the part numbers, if anyone knows please let me know thanks.
