It will be a noticeable improvement, we along with most brake upgrade manufacturers do not test 60-0 times, to many different variables such as tire temp/condtion, surface temp/condition, Pad temp, etc. And especially with this upgrade package offering so many different pad options.

We offer AMS Carbon Ceramic and Centric Posi Quiet as standard options, Axis Deluxe +$25, Axis Ultimate +$40, Hawk HPS +$65, and just about any other pad you may want we can get, including Carbotech.

More info can be found HERE, Price varies based on options selected. And you can estimate shipping my adding the product to you cart where their is a shipping estimator. Or you can PM me with which pads you would like, and Super Blue or Motul Brake Fluid with your kit.

Just to clarify, Will the base kit provide an improvement in stopping distances as well or just reduce brake fade do to the cross drilled/slotted rotors?

The standard package also includes upgraded pads, which will reduce stopping distance due to a higher coefficient of friction than the OE pads. And you are correct the drilled/slotted rotors reduce fade.
