I'm surprised the early (03-04) sedan owners aren't jumping on this. It's a very nice upgrade the the crappy OEM brakes. I noticed much improved stopping after upgrading to these.

BUMP for you OP!

None. It's a direct bolt on. You'll need to bend back the dust shield for the rear brakes though.

This is half incorrect and half confusing. Incorrect because you do need the torque members (i.e. caliper brackets). Confusing because you show the torque members in your picture. Also confusing because while it is a direct bolt on, you also need the brackets. The 03-04 and 05x brackets are too small to handle the larger rotors. The old rear will either rub or push the pad too far inward on the disk (can't remember which), and the 2-piston front caliper won't even fit in the old bracket.

And if you saw improved braking with the upgrade, it was primarily in your head. Both setups are outstanding, stopping from 60-0 in about 113 feet, which is near supercar performance. They just do it differently. The older setup used more aggressive pads on a smaller set of rotors, resulting in faster wear and more dust. The newer setup went a little larger with a slightly less aggressive pad. The reason to do this upgrade isn't performance, it's because your old setup is worn out and you're tired of the dust and frequent pad swaps.

there is a difference between brake setup ive seen it in person two g35 coupe going 75 and the dual pistons stopped first and then the one piston calipers both break setups were with new cmax pads and fresh brake fluid. So if you changed the brake pads to more agressive pads wouldnt they have better breaking power ?? Also if this made no difference no one would have done the swap then there are tons of people onthis forum and my350z who have done this and felt better braking ..this is a direct swap kit comes with rotors brackets and pads fitment is on point took me lil less than 2hrs for install
