im gonna go test drive a G soon i'll prlly look for a 05AT with the newer wheels i guess thats the sport package? but anyways what is the rev-up engine? and is it possible to get a 05 for under 30k?

 

the rev-up engine is only on the 6MT's, so if you're looking for an AT you won't get it. More HP, a little lower Torque, higher redline etc. In normal driving you won't notice the difference between the revup and AT engine (Except the shifting obviously)

05 under 30K? not likely unless it has a ton of miles on it already.

 

Three week ago I bouth an 05 6MT (revup) laoded with everything but nav, only 10k miles on it for under 31k. Look around and really work the dealers, you might find what you want.

 

The 05AT has rev-matching but not the rev-up. G35s retain great resale value, so like someone else said it would be difficult to find an 05 for below 30k unless it was a base model which there aren't many of or one with high mileage on it. Good luck though in finding one.

 

05 gcoupe for under 30K is highly unlikey... unless it has way to many miles on it.

 

Unlike other's said, I did say it is possible and doable, but it will depends on where you live, look on autotrader.com in LA arae? there are about 8 coupes are asking for 31k or less, so with lil bit of negotiating or simply wait other couple of months, they will be under 30k, One example...
