Introduction and question on limited slip/sport package

Hello everyone,

I'm a soon to be G35 owner (in a month or so): I've always wanted the car every since it came to the United States; now that I've graduated from college and an working as a full-time engineer I can afford one fairly easily. I've test driven a G35 sedan (automatic), which had the sport suspension/limited slip package. My question is:

1) How good is the stock sport suspension? What is changed? Sway bars? Shocks springs?
2) Is the limited slip differential worth it or is it worthless or even outright dangerous on this car?

(The total price for that entire option -- which also includes 18" wheels -- is $750, which seems like a bargain).

1) I think the stock suspension is pretty good but there is always room for improvement. It's stiff but not stiff enough to affect general comfort.

2) The limited slip can be dangerous if you don't know how it works. However, traction control is on unless you specifically turn it off so you will not slide out.

Like you said, the sport suspension option is not too expensive and you do get nice wheels.
