Hey guys, new to the forum and have a question. Im looking at custom ordering a 6MT coupe from my local dealer, they are offering 750 over invoice price, which works out to about 2200 less than MSRP. Is that a pretty good deal? Is invoice price what the dealers are really getting the coupes for, or are there extra incentives and discounts? Finally, when is the '07 coupe supposed to start shipping? Thanks for the help...

Well first of all this is most like going to get moved since its in the wrong forum section.

But to answer your question, I believe the Invoice is the price to factory sells the car to the dealership. So therefore, the dealer is going to make a profit of 750. And hell yes, 2200 less than MSRP is a good deal.

i have heard of people buying this car even below invoice. Look up hold over and other such things. Even if the dealer sell to you at invoice they make x percent of the purchase price. However, 750 above invoice is not bad at all. where you buying from.

 

it doesnt matter if the dealer makes something or not....

the bottom line is that 750 over invoice is a pretty good deal for a 6MT... if u can get the dealer to go down you are golden .... pull the trigger.

and even if not 750 over invoice aint bad at all.
