Talking like pros to Dealers
So far im in communication with some dealers via Email. 100% of them are urging me to contact them via phone or in person.
Can you experienced people give me some suggestions and advice?
Heres my email to one dealer, how did I do?
"Thanks for the update.
Im really not interested in talking on the phone or person until I get a quote that really interest me (based on cap cost, interest rate, etc).
There are too many dealers im negotiating with, so obviously driving down to every single one or talking on the phone really isnt my best option. Im expecting (need) to buy a vehicle (g35c) within Aug 17- Aug 31.
Also, im looking for specific options and colors with no exceptions, so the dealer that finds a match (and ofcourse for a great price) will get my business. I have heard many great comments from fellow G35 owners about Infiniti of parkway; I hope I can do business with you.

I went through the same thing during my search for a G. I think that all dealers want to maximize their time with the clients who express the most serious level of interest in a purchase ( evidenced by some type of in-person contact). I did most of my searching on the web, but always ended up calling for more information. It only takes a few seconds to tell them what you want in the deal and they will probably have to call you back. Tell them that because of time constraints, you cannot visit every dealer and need as many details as possible over the phone before setting an appointment to meet. They will do it for you if you just let them know how serious you are.
Once you get to the dealer, the attempted screwing will begin for a few dollars here and there so be ready to threaten to leave and do so if they will not back down. They will chase you and probably give in.

obviously i'm a sales consultant and go through this all day long. yes, i do get a lot of clients from the internet that will shop around every dealership in the 100 mile radius for the best price but you also have to look at the long term outcome especially with servicing and feeling comfortable. one dealership may give you a few dollars less for a lease or purchase price it's all about getting a comfortable and happy purchase of a new Infiniti. trust me, i sometimes might have a higher number than another dealership but people feel more comfortable and rather get their new vehicle from me
