Please Help Me Evaluate Lease Offer

I am looking at a new '06 G35X with Premium C. Sticker is $37.6. Is this a decent deal?

The deal I was offered for 36 months/15K miles per year is:

Cap Cost = $35,066
Trade-in = $5500
Residual Value = 56%
Money Factor = .001120

There is a $550 assignment fee which I assume is a standard "lease acquisition fee," correct?

With my trade-in as a buy-down, the lease boils down to $325.71 ($355.03 w/ tax) per month. Included in this is application of some of my trade-in allowance towards 1st month, license/registration, etc.

Another question I have is whether the current $2K manufacturer-to-dealer incentive does not apply to leases. I would have assumed it does since the dealer is still selling the car (albeit to a leasing company), but I was told it did not. Any experiences either way?

why put soo much down on a LEASE?????
i mean, it's your own money, but to me that just doesnt make sense.
just buy the car. i would never put 5500 down on a lease.
sorry that my post doesn't help you one bit. just had to add my 2 cents.

the manufacture to dealer incentive would still apply, even with a lease. The bank is buying the car with a lease. I just leased a Volvo suv for my wife and the first salesman told me the 4500 dollar incentive wouldnt apply. I called other dealers and they said BS. Im telling you, dont look at the sticker price. Go to edmunds.com or kelly blue book and find out the invoice. 2006's can be bought at or even below invoice. The dealer makes money every quarter on cars they sell plus bonus's. Dont look at the sticker.

Yes it is on the...
Residual Value = 56%
Money Factor = .001120
Unless they are running some kind of promotion from Infiniti? those numbers are hard to beat.

And no on the...
Cap Cost = $35,066
The invoice on it is 34246, so they are sell it to you right above invoice, consider they have been heavily discounting(4k off MSRP) Sedan for last 3 months and with newly redesigned 07 are coming in about other 4~5 weeks, depends on your local market conditions, you should do better than invoice, perhaps 2k or more below? besides that, you might also want to look at value of your trade-in's? you might able to get other couple more hundren dollars.

Yes, unless they say/wrote other wise.

According to carsdirect.com, you could purchase a new G35x w/ Premium Pkg C in my area for $32,546, which is much lower than the cap cost of $35,066 you're getting.

As limeg35 said, the residual and money factor you're getting look pretty good.

exactly...that cap is rather high. considering. but its mostly based upon the msrp anyways. as for what you want your payments to be. if you want it to be that low then keep the 5500 in there, if not then ask them to pay you back that money, they can. i do it everyday here at mercedes. the lease fee is standard, but they can bump it up to 850 so watch out. they are allowed to do that. that money factor is insane so dont bitch about it. nd the residual is good....is that 39 months?

you are good to get maybe another grand because infiniti doesnt have so much in them anymore anyways. and on leases the money back goes to the dealer anyways not you...dont listen to these guys they dont know what they are talking about. it doesnt apply to you, it applies to the dealer if you use nissan or infiniti financial services.

and remember the dealer decides if you buy it below invoice or not, not edmonds. all that does is insures you dont get a car. people go to edmunds everyday and say i can buy this car for this or that, and guess what, weeks later they buy it for what i say, not edmunds! so the deal you end up is the best deal you get. all these i bought it for this and that...nonsense! you can bet on it. i do it everyday. pm me if you need some help bro. i do finance and train it. been training it for the last 6 years. i can help you out.
