When you say invoice... I assume you mean "dealer" invoice (The amount which dealers are invoiced by the Infiniti/Nissan). If so, Yes. This is very good price.

I say Do It!

How do I know if it's dealer invoice? It just says "invoice".

Taxable AMO's: $695
Documenation Fees: $45
Acquisition Fee: $595
License Fees: $301
Prior Credit or Lease Balance: $1656
GROSS CAPITALIZED COST: $39, 249

MONTHLY PAYMENT DETERMINATION:

Gross Cap Cost: $39,249
Adj. Cap Cost: $39,249
Residual: $21,369.30
Depreciation: $17,879.70
Rent: $4,231.89
TOTAL OF BASE PAYMENTS: $22,111.59
# of Pymts: 39
Base Pmt: $566.96

I don't understand much of anything. Can someone please educate me?? I don't want to get ripped off.

In April, 2005 I bought a 2005 *Sedan* with the same EXACT options for $32447 + tax on VPP. A colleague at work in October, 2005 bought the same exact car for $33,500 out the door, *including* tt&l because the 2006's were showing up. I feel I got about the same deal, because my interest rate was 2.9%, so I bought mine $0 down; by the time he bought his, it was 4.9%. I think they ended up giving him some incentives to bring the price down. Plus, they wanted to move the old inventory. You should be able to see the same incentives and favorable pricing this time of year, especially with the 2007 models showing up.

Assuming the Coupe is slightly more expensive, its probably the correct VPP price, but you should be able to do better, apparently.
ALSO, there should be big incentives on the 2006 model year. And there are -- http://www.insidenissan.com/vpp/vendor/monthly.html

If you were purchasing the car outright, you might do better; there's a $1,000 incentive, plus a special APR.

Re: the lease, I don't really know much about leases personally. www.leasecompare.com might be useful. Click "compare" and then you can see how much other places might charge. Keep in mind that my 60 month loan is $641, and I get to re-sell my car after the loan's up...

Also, you can find lots of education sites about the details of leasing via google. :-)

My question: where in the cost breakdown does the "VPP" price come into play? I don't see how 33356 transforms into 35957.

Still seems like too high on a lease. I leased an '06 with VPP with every available option, and $1000 down from a trade, my payments are only $515/mo.
