2007 G Coupe Pricing?

Hello!

Thank you in advance - I wanted to get some opinions on current pricing. I am in the market for a new ride and am seriously considering a new g coupe. With my selection criteria, there really aren't many choices, so my testing was short and very sweet:

The list basically is the G35 coupe or a BMW 335ci. Price isn't so much the issue, but availablity is - I think the earliest I'd see a BMW would be 2 months, and that probably won't work for me (guess I could get a beater to drive in the interim, but that's probably more a hassle than anything else.) I have thought about a used M3, but kinda want a new car.

So, I am thinking that since the 08's are soon to be released, that the pricing on the G coupe will be really aggressive, allowing me to save maybe 10k, which while not an affordability issue, sure isn't chump change.

So - what should I be seeing for pricing now on the coupes? 1k over invoice? less? I'm on the west coast - Bay Area now, so I know there are a ton of aggressive dealers here.

If it matters, I want an optioned out G - Premium + Navi basically.

    Any info is appreciated!

take this with a grain of salt...

while there will be a good mark down on the 2007 G35 coupe... i doubt it will be 10k within months after the release. until the dealers can get a good supply on their lot (the 2008 will demand a premium... ie msrp) because of that the markdown on the 2007 will be resonable but not excessive. and this is when your planning to purchase.

now if you were going at the end of the year... 10k may be a longshot... but it may be possible.

^+1. It won't be close to 10k. Perhaps between 4-5k. Infiniti or the dealers aren't going to lose 6k+ on each car.

Whoops - sorry for the confusion. When I meant "10k" I was looking at pricing of an optioned 335i v an optioned G35 coupe. That's where the 10k number came in - NOT that I'd get a G35c coupe for 10k less than sticker (maybe if I stole it off the lot).

So, should I be seeing the G35 for invoice price now? Or how close to invoice?

hell yah... and when the 2008 comes out expect there to be 1k or more rebates / incentives from infiniti... so 1k or more less then invoice.

Ok, that makes sense now. G/L with the decision.
