lookin to buy... 03 VS. 04 VS 05 Modle years
hi all, im lookin to get a loaded G35 6MT with nav, so basically itll have everything. can someone please tell me the main differances between these model years adn what i can expect to pay for each year.
i went on msnautos and saw what they said about year changes, adn it said from 03 to 04 there was and added vicous type limited slip differential? does that mean the 03 year doesnt have a limited slip at all? I mean if i get the tires buring or am in slick weather i def dont want any one tire fires goin on, lol.
other then that, what else changed in 03-04?
i know the 05 has a new interior and added bluetooth and upgraded power correct?
the interior and power wasnt that big of a diff to make me spend alot more, but what else changed?
and if you could please tell me what i should expect to pay itd be great!!!, or what have you payed lately for yours loaded?
thanks alot!

I just bought a 2004 Twilight Blue Pearl Coupe about a month ago. It had 13,000 miles on the odometer and it is fully loaded with Nav and everything else. I paid $26,000 for it. If you just wait around for the right deal to come your way, you can find some really good deals.
The differences between the model years is as you pointed out in the 05-up they got 298hp engine and the 03-04 have 280hp. The 03-04 have more torque and I believe weigh a little bit less also. The interior dash was slightly remodeled which a lot of people prefer. I wanted an 05-up coupe but couldn't really find a good deal. I looked at this 04 I bought and personally I think that the updated interior is over rated. I like the 05-up interior better but the 03-04 interior is just as nice.
Also, some 03-04 come with Brembro's which give a nice contrast with their gold color.
The 06-up recieved new headlights and taillights as well as an updated navigation system.
I think that answers most of your questions. I could be missing some things as well. Whichever G you decide to get, you won't be disappointed.

wow only 26k! from a dealer or private party? ive seen 1 for 27,999 at a dealer loaded it was an 04 i believe with like 30k miles? and then one 03 with 40k from private loaded for 26k
It was from a private seller. The car was babied to all hell. The person I bought it from was originally from the NJ area and moved out to Cali for work. He came back to visit family and met a girl. Things hit off and he started to come back here more to visit her. He bought the G for his ride when ever he was home in NJ. He ended up moving back to Jersey and now had two cars on his hands. He had a Wrangler and the G and he chose to sell the G. I don't know why but it worked out for me. He was asking $30K and I offered him $26k and he bit on it.
I also bought it in the winter time when no one is really buying them so the price comes down some. You'll see a lot of cars resale value go up in the spring and summer months.
But trust me when I say I waited forever for this car. I originally wanted an IP and I found one in NY that was an 05 fully loaded with nav, 5K miles on it going for $29k from a dealer. I thought I for sure was going to own that car only to my dismay, it sold 3 hours before i called to put my name on it. And to tell you the truth, I am glad it did. I like the fact that TB is such a rare color and I own one.
I used to own a 93 Turbo MR2 in the rare Skyblue color. I guess I just have a thing for rare factory paint schemes.
