For $16k? A barebones '03 sedan with 100k+ miles.

Unless you're looking at a salvage title vehicle; in that case, all bets are off.

 

You should expect nothing... unless its in many pieces.

So this car I'm looking at really does sound like a deal. Only thing is the fan is always on. Broken cup holder in the back and shiftlock don't work. Well this is all I can tell. The car is 2003.5 (no doggy-door) on the back. It's got the spoiler, xenons, bose, reclinable rear seats, sunroof, leather seats and the 5 spoke 17in wheels. The carfax is clean but it's only carfax. No oil leaks that I can find. Coolant is green not muddy. It does have higher mileage with over 75k though. Interior is clean and of the tan/beige color.

The only thing I'm hesitating on is the factory warranty has expired and this is at a "luxury used car lot" selling as is. Luxury used car lots get there cars from dealers who can't or won't sell that car so they'll sell it to the these 2nd hand dealers for cheap.
