need advice on 07 G35 sedan
hi all, new member here, 1st post. previous acura owner, and now im definitely interested with the 07 G35 sedan. did a test drive and this car is amazing. dealer quoted me $35400 for 07 G35 sedan Journey, premium pkg., 18" wheels, with window tint, pin tripe, wheels lock. dealer is pretty tough with their price.
ive seen ppl everywhere got invoice or below msrp price, but not in houston are. Anyone in Houston, TX area who got better price? pls help me with negotiating. Austin or Dallas area are also welcome for your advice. Thanks in advance. Cant wait to get this car and be a G owner.

Figure out how far you are willing to drive. Find out invoice on the car and determine what you are willing to pay. Pick up the phone and tell them that you are looking for "this car" with "these options" and for this "this price". Tell them upfront that you are not buying without that deal and if they can help you then great and if not, sorry but no thanks. We had to call around to find our second G but it was worth the hour's drive to get what we wanted for a price we were happy with.

I'm not Trey but your welcome regardless.
How close are you to Grubbs? I have heard that they are good on making deals. I know they are in Texas but I'm not sure where exactly so it may be no where close to you.

Grubbs infiniti is in Dallas area. From houston, that will be 5-6 hrs drive. 1 hr flight. how low do you think the price for new G will go? i mean...what is the starting price i should ask for?
if it's worth it...i dont mind go to dallas

Not sure. I would post over in the "south" regional forum and ask who bought at Grubbs. You could also just call them and tell them you are on this site and you want to know if they will make it worth your while to drive/fly over to Dallas. Go to Edmunds.com and get the invoice price. Make an offer based on that and see what they say. If I were you, I would start with an offer of $500 over invoice price. If they don't take it, find out what they are thinking is reasonable and go from there. Ultimately it will be up to you as to what is a reasonable price obviously. Grubbs is a sponsor on this site IIRC and they are VERY familiar with the G community.
