Lease question

Hi, I just lease a G35 coupe 6MT about 3 weeks ago, now I am kind of regret to get the 6MT, so I was wondering if it's possible to "trade-in" the lease with other makes such as BMW, Lexus, etc..

or is it possible to change to 5speed automatic G35 coupe with current deal?

I know I should ask the dealer but I just wondering if anyone has done it here so I won't look that stupid when I calling the dealership. Thanks!!

Yes, you...oooops "he" can certainly trade it for any other Makes as he wish.

But dont think for a moment that "he" could just walk into dealership and switch cars and walk out! at this point? he would have to actually "trade" it in for other car, the dealership will determine the value of the car and any difference between that and what he owes? he will either have pay it out of his pocket or roll it over to the new contract. At very least? he will be owing DMV, acquisition and couple of other paper work fees.

haha.. ok ok you got me!! sigh.. I thought I'm embarrassed enough that I can't drive a 6MT smoothly so I made up this "he" anyways, I had edit my post now this "he" is ME now!! you happy now???? j/p
Anyways, I made a few phone calls to some dealerships and they told me exaclty same thing as you said.. I will lose at least $1-2k and I won't be at the same amount of monthly payment if I do this "trade-in" so I guess I'll just have to bear with it. I don't what to say now I wish I had an 5spd auto...

It's okay, is this your first stick car?

You'll get the hang of it man, it just takes practice. It'll be second nature in no time. Plus you will appreciate 6MT when you actually want to shift on your own. You made a good purchase, don't worry.
