2004 MT G35 Sedan! Situation
2004 MT G35 Sedan! Situation
hello everyone, i am new to these forums and am already enjoying them.
last november/december when i was car shopping i looked at g35s but couldnt find many that fit my price range and were MT as well (since most of the cheaper MT's were 03' coupes). but just a few days ago i found a man in my town who is selling his 2004 g35 sedan MT specs as follows:
80k miles (ALOT)
6 spd manual tranny
diamond graphite exterior
black interior
leather seats
heated seats
Bose sound system
aero package
dual power seats
memory seats
sunroof
asking 16k obo
the catch: does not have a clean record. around 30k miles, g35 hit a deer and airbags deployed. car was repaired and driven again.
the thing is i really dont care about a clean history as long as this car runs well which i will find out tomorrow when i test drive it. i will ask for price drop to 14k because it has been in an accident and thus cannot be declared excellent condition.
also right now i drive a 2005 nissan altima 5 speed 2.5L I4. So I'm going to need to sell this car as well because i do not have the cash reserves to buy this car. so im going to have to try to sell my car for about 12k. just bought the car in december
so any opinions/heads ups/tips are appreciated. thanks in advance!

I'd say go drive it, if it runs good... get it!
I know hitting a deer at high speed's can do some damage, but it cant do THAT much damage to make the car unreliable after it's fixed. if you get the car at $15k i think that's a STEAL, it'll last you well over 150k if you take car of it.

yeah i absolutely cannot wait to test drive this thing. this is the fastest MT ive driven since i first drove an MT which was a subby WRX plus is the car i've wanted all along (besides an Evo but thats a different story). I've test driven G's before but only AT. This should be exciting. KBB says 04 g35 mt is about 15k at good condition so ill see what i can do. i never imagined i'd find a g35 at such a low price.
all i know is that the hardest part right now is me selling my altima haha
