I convinced my sister to buy an Altima instead of a Camry, she drove to two and picked the altima. I need some advice on what fees I should and should not be paying when doing the paperwork. I bought my G35 from a family friend, who was the sales amanger, so all the stealership fees we taken care of for me, but this time I'm on my own. Thanks. Also were financing it.

 

i dont think you can negotiate what fees to pay or not.

If this altima is being brought from the dealer than you have to pay the dealer fees and the taxes.

if this is from a private party.... then its just taxes at the dmv... no fees involved.

 

I was just afraid of the dealer tacking one dealer fees and processing fees, just BS fees. We got the car yesterday, luckly there as fees added on except the tax and titling fees. I was expecting some documentation fees and dealer fees.

 

everyone pays the BS fees, I work at a dealership and have to pay them lol

most of the time they are pre-printed on the paperwork. just be weary of shady explanations of the paperwork. if it doesn't make sense dont sign it.
