05 Coupe - $26200?
I'm in the process to pick up a G35 coupe and want some input from you gus.
I'm looking at a 05' Red coupe 6speed with 18,000miles. The dealer asked for 30k, and now we are at $26,200.
Vehicle got the areo package, 19" wheels, (no brembo?, Dont they all come with brembo?) Looks like it needs new tires (Alot of burnout? or does the factory tires doesnt last that long?). Also, there are quite a bit of paint chip on the hood and some on front fender. Right side mirror has minor crack on the bottom part. Couple of small door dings.
So what do you guys think? deal? at 26,200? I'm thinking 26,200 with new tires (consider thats a $1000 to replace). Let me know your input.
Thanks,
Andy

Its always difficult to answer this type of questions, if you say "its fine price", someone will always most certainly come in and say they got it lot cheaper than that and makes you looks like fool.
Take look on Autotrader or other websites, and see what kinda of price they are asking for, I just search it bit earlier for other thread? there are quite of G35 around the Country for sale, asking 26k or less, only you can judge if its worth whatever price you are going to pay for it, and if you can live with those paint chips and dents or not.
No, there is no Brembo's on 05 and later, needed to replace tires (on the rears?)at 18k is somewhat normal, not ruling out few burned out tho, who could resist the temptations , but then again, same with pricing question, some will say the tires on their G lasted till 30k.

in comparision to similar deals... your deal is pretty good.
1. the 05 onwards the brembos were removed .... brembos were only 04 and below.
2. Tires do go out if they are the 19s pretty quickly... you need to replace them by 20K miles, for sure.... that is without burnouts... and much much sooner if there are brunouts involved
If you are getting it from the dealer... it surely a good price... and make sure you get it ceritifed... so that you have the extended coverage.
