Purchasing a G35 Sport

Any helpful info or advice is appreciated, or even a reference to a great dealership here in so cali. thanks in advance...

I am in the market to purchase (finance) an 08 G35 Sport w/ the following add-ons...premium, navigation, & tech package. Looking at an MSRP of about 39,8xx. (I used the 07 pricing, so I dont know how much a difference there would be)

Not sure what invoice pricing on this car is at, and how low infiniti dealers tend to sell their cars (invoice, lower than invoice, etc). Also, if there isnt that much of a difference, and i can get a great deal on an 07, i wouldnt mind going that route either.

I'm gonna send out a request thru edmunds.com today to get back some local responses, but if someone could advice me on the ballpark that I should be negotiating with, that would be much appreciated.

thanks again.

I assume you're looking at a sedan. I have the same options on my '07 and my OTD price was $37,797. Most cars sold though are for slightly above invoice.

I just went through edmunds.com and their whole process and just took offers and went to see if other dealers could match or beat that price. Also look for what perks dealers offer (some may offer free scheduled maintanence for x miles/y years, etc).

Some dealers were smart and knew if they gave me a quote via email that I'd just use it to cross shop and wanted me to come in for a quote, so just be aware of that. If they do that, just bring the lowest price quote in with you upon arrival and if they can't match it, just walk.
