I'm thinking of selling my 03 G35c M6. To certify it (and to keep driving it safely), I need new rear tires, rear pads, and maybe rear rotors (I was told I can't machine them because they are so thin and fragile to begin with - is this true?)
My question is, if I'm selling this car (with 88K and 4 years old) does it matter if all the parts on it are OEM? Ie, would anyone care if I put new Pilot Sports on the back, or could I go for something similar (ie sp sport maxx, avs es1000, falken fk 452, etc). Do I need new Brembo rotors and pads? Could I put normal rotors and pads on the back (that are the same size - ie no kits required)?
I would love to save the money, but at the same time, I'd feel stupid if I saved $100 and then the value of the car dropped $1,000.
Thanks
