I think we should make a sticky tread for all people who are interested in buying G35's. Something like "Things to look for when purchasing a G35". I think this would be helpful for people who are looking at purchasing one, especially because there will be more on the used market now with the release of the G37's. Some things that I could think of;
-Look for rock chips, Infiniti's have soft paint
-Be aware that rev-up motors may have oil burning issues
-The 6mt transmissions may grind in 5th, and need to be replaced.
-Oem Bridgestones are very soft, and dont last long
-G35's are known to have bad rattles
Those are just a few things I could think of, but I think a thread like this would be helpful for people who are looking at purchasing used G35's. This could give them some model specific problems to look for when they go to inspect a vehicle.
