G35 05+
G35 05+
Hey guys, I'm new here. I'm from Iceland, and I'm thinking about a G35 Coupe.
Since I work for a Nissan dealership, I've asked myself a few times, should I still be driving a Mitsubishi? Okay so I started testing the 350z, that car is awesome, But I can't really have a 2seater. I'll get one when I'm older
Things got a bit more difficult since Infiniti hasn't come to Europe market yet, so I started looking.. and there's only one G35 Coupe in Iceland, and highly priced. So I got out.. and got to test it out, woah, that was a hella of a ride, drove it first then I turned the VDC off, that baby spins! Now I'm looking for a G35 2005+ with less than 25k miles at least.
So there is a company here that imports from the U.S. and I've sent them a email to look up a G35 for me to the price range $28k, is that reasonable? But however, they will find a car for me, but they won't check it out, which is kinda bad, what could I now end up with? whom to trust? since I can't go check out the car myself.
You guys know the sites to look at, I'm looking at eBaymotors and Autotrader.
I'm also up to salvage cars which have been repaired, at a reasonable price, what's the price tag for those?
Best Regards from Iceland!

You can hire an inspector to go look at the car. There are many services like that.
As for salvage I think everyone here would tell you to stay away.
On off topic notice, I think Iceland is amazing, and will definitely be going there one day.

Thanks for the replies guys, I'm actually looking at importing a car, been looking at '06 with under 20k miles.. been looking at cars with about 10k miles priced at about 28k, then there's some extra always on that for the transporting and tax, paperwork, depends on states as I've been told.
I didn't know there was a service for checking out cars, I will check that out, as of now I've been checking out a service that's here in Iceland for importing cars from the U.S. they do take some good profit for it but they check out the car and do paperwork for you if it's a buy through them.
I could myself also go out to the U.S. for a couple of days and import myself but that would take time, days off for work, and a lot of paperwork, but I would still profit. I'm looking at this.
Iceland is cold now, but in the capital where I live it's not too bad, a little snowing.. and about 26F-28F (-2c to -4c)
If you're good at importing cars to other countries I'll consider buying you a flight to Iceland if you bring a G with you
