shouldnt dealer auctions be cheaper?
Hey guys,
I am lookin to purchase a g35 soon, preferbly an 04 or 05...I have been seeing them go for arounf 21k and up with 40k plus miles...i ended up bumping to a neighbor thats a private dealer and he was telling me he can get them for 20k plus...from a private auction...thats sounds suspect me to me.
I have a true friend whos a private dealer on the side and hes a family friend and I know he wont BS me, but I havent gotten a chance to talk to him yet to ask if it was true, i would have thought that if i went to a dealer auction i can get them for like 17k or somthing....I'm in the DC Metro area...anyone have some advice.

my friend's dad is a private dealer. He picked up an '04 coupe (21k miles) from a dealer auction for 10k. It was a salvaged title though. But I got to have the car for about a week and it was no different from my brand new (not new anymore) G.
