G35 Deals
i'm planning to purchase a G35 Journey which the dealer told me they don't carry base model but i'm getting a navigation,premium, wheel and tire, plus spoiler package combine and the total from edmunds was $35,255 not including tax and license. Should i wait it out till august while the deal now is 2.9% for 60 months or just buy one within 2-3 months from now? Please help me out G35 members.

Just bought a 2008 G35 Journey, Sedan, 5AT, Premium and Nav Package
Dealer Add-ons: Nitro in Tires ($250.00) dealer option(joke).
Sticker: 38725
All said and done I worked them down to 34600 OTD
They showed me their invoice and it was at 34246
I got the 2.9% for 63 months.

wow steve you got a really good deal for the OTD is that including tax and license? $34.246 is an awesome deal plus you get the nitto tires. I haggle with the dealer and they want it for 35.600 OTD so i left and the salesman dragged me back in and said alright lets work this deal out for 35,088 i said i'll drop the spoiler and would pay for OTD 33,500 final offer if you are willing to make this deal i'll put $6000.00 down for 2.9% 63 months but he refused. Steve you got an awesome deal if that price 34246 OTD with tax and license. I have to admit Steve you got a really good deal for the nav and premium package bro.
I was fortunate enough to have a lot of time on my hands to do a lot of research, all in all it took about 2 months worth of looking, I was originally looking at the 2008 Acrua TL type S, 2008 BMW 328i, a used 2006 BMW 525i, after corssing all those off the list I knew the G was for me.
I went to edmunds and researched their forums on G35 prices and looked at what others had to say. Just like most of the people in here as soon as I drove the G there was no comparison, for the money and the options you get it beats any other car in its class.
So I had a couple figures in my head I was thinking that they could come down 3000 off the sticker and that was a good deal. I kept working the dealer and working him. It was a week process of going back and forth.. I started with the base journey but then i asked them to step it up to a premium package journey for the same price as we were hangling for. They said the premium package was 2500 invoice and they threw it in for 2100. Then I drove it, told them I wouldnt be happy with just the premium and needed the nav. They said that package was at 2100 invoice but they would drop it to cost which was 1800.
It has carpet trunk mat and cargo net, nitro in tires, premium, nav. and that is pretty much it.
I was pretty tired after the whole ordeal, I had a trade in, 2005 mitsu outlander that I was around 1300 upside on because it had high miles.
34600 + TTT (sorry I said OTD) but still I think thats a heck of a deal.

I think I financed 35K and change, Payments per month were just under $600.
Before i bought that car i went to another infiniti dealer and asked them to match the price, they gave me the run around and then finally said they would match it, however their numbers were the same but their payment per month were 618, which I couldnt understand. I told the guy I had a better offer on the table told him it was just under 600 monthly and they said they couldnt come close to that deal. I walked out and
I left their dealership and went back to the one I haggled with. I was surprised that I got it at that price. I still think there was some wiggle room but not much, I did get them to throw in 2 free oil changes and 2 free tanks of gas.
