Coupe for the Northeast?

I've recently started the search for a new car. While a BMW or Benz fits more into my conservative, often unexciting lifestyle the notion of something sleek, fast, and relatively impractical seems like it would be a breath of fresh air. I've just about narrowed my search away from the RX8 (b/c of the rotary), 350Z (b/c only two seats), Corvette (b/c only a-holes drive them in a NE winter), and several others down to a G35 Coupe. Is this car a bad idea for what might be some snowy conditions in the greater Boston area? Also since the conditions around here do fluctuate fairly wildly throughout the year would a G35's price tend to drop around late fall and rise early spring or remain fairly stable? For reference I'm looking at an '04, M/T, with minimal miles.

RWD is pretty scary in snow.

Make sure you get some snow tires for the winters...

I'm in NE Ohio and bought my 04 G (auto) in January and spent the entire winter with it. The car is flat out scary to drive in snow. Definitely getting snowies for winter. I haven't picked up on much price fluctuation due to seasonal changes.
