Anyone?

Someone here has to know. Can't find May '08 MF's and Residuals anywhere. Thinking about pulling the trigger this week on a G35S.

I couldn’t find them anywhere so I just signed the deal based on what the dealer told me was available. Here is what I got.

36 months 12K miles per year

Base money factor = .0015 - My dealer didn’t mark this up at all
Residual 60% for 12K or 59% for 15K. Typically you get 2% extra going from 15K to 12K. This month that did not seem to be the case.

Sounds About Right

Thanks...I think that's about right. I believe the MF is lower for 24 months, which is what I'm interested in. Regardless, its a screaming good deal compared to BMW these days.

Red face

At 57%, >.0020 MF, and a $48K+ sticker the BMW 335i is no longer a reasonable option!

If anyone leases a 335i over a G35 right now they have money to burn. I was close to pulling the trigger on a 335i last month. I hesitated because I like the G35 as much. However, I saw what happened to the BMW residuals this month so I instantly pulled the trigger on the G35. I was afraid the residuals would do the same thing for Infiniti next month.

My thoughts exactly!

The BMW residual drop & so-so MF have prompted me to go to Infiniti as well. I am a long-time BMW owner, so its a tough leap. However, every time I see a G35 I turn my head to follow it...so that must mean something. For the money, I think the G35 is the best choice out there for a performance sedan within a reasonable budget. As many here have said, the 335i is not worth $10K more IMHO, and definitely not worth $250 more a month on a lease!

Use the following formula to calculate a lease payment:

(Cap Cost – Residual Value) / Term = Depreciation
(Cap Cost + Residual Value) X Money Factor = Interest
Depreciation + Interest = Base Monthly Payment

Tarry,

My dealer insisted that going from 15K to 12K would only add 1% not 2% to the residual. He even brought out an official document from Infiniti that showed it was only +1%. Is that something new for Infiniti this month? Does going from 15K to 12K usually get you 2%?

As always, Thanks for all of your help!

Yes, it is 1% for the 12K - I'll watch this for the June update to see if this is permanent.
