Sure, but he probably won't like the APR. Won't you know until you try.

There seems to be one financial institution that shows up on this site a fair bit - the Bank of Mom & Dad...

 

Try a local credit union. You'll get a much better APR.

Typically they also take into account the personal factors more so than a bank would. At least that's been my experience when working with my credit union, they certainly value the relationship.

 

I can tell you, if you secure you loan, you will get an incredible rate on your loan.
