Infiniti Loaner Car Program

I'm considering driving 3 hours to Virginia to pickup the exact G35 that I want instead of working with my local dealer to get the better deal. The local dealer offers standard "Benefits" for buying from them such as:

* Free Shuttle Service (30 mile)
* Free Pick up and Delivery (30 mile)
* Free Loaner Car with Major Service
* 4yr/60 K Mile Warranty
* 6yr/70 K Mile Powertrain Warranty
* Lifetime towing at no charge
* Free Vehicle Wash and Vac with each service visit
* Lifetime Inspection

I know that the warranties are standard, but what I'm wondering is if I decided to purchase from the dealership 3 hrs away, are loaner vehicles going to be offered to me if I took the car to my local Infiniti dealership?

Thanks,
Johnny

Theoretically yes, but dealers are ALWAYS going to favor their own customers.

Here's an example:

Customer A never services at our dealer; he goes to Jiffy Lube and only does oil changes every 3k. He complains of a problem, and brings it to the dealer. Customer A must put a deposit for us to inspect the car; the deposit will, of course, go towards any repairs made to the vehicle, or refunded if it is a warranty issue. If there is no problem, the deposit is used to pay for the tech's time spent inspecting the car.

Customer B always services the car at the dealer, and follows the factory maintenance schedule to the dot. Customer B complains of a problem. Service advisor is familiar with the customer, and happily provides a loan vehicle and lets the customer know that they will be informed when we figure out what the problem is.

As they say, it's not WHAT you know, it's WHO you know.

Build a relationship with your dealer; you never know how it'll pay off, wether it be exceptional service, or perhaps something done out of good will to retain your business.

Bold are benefits provided by your dealer, and not through Infiniti.

However, providing loan cars are completely at the dealer's discretion.

Have you considered asking your local dealer to get the car FOR you? Saves you time and keeps your local dealer happy

Dealership really only makes a profit on used car and replacement parts sales.
Most other services: labor, new car* sales are breakeven at best due to high overhead.

*Unless you way overpay or finance or lease or buy fluff services.
