Hey guys Im new to the forum but ive been reading it for the past several months and I have also been looking for a G during the last four months or so. Well Ive been looking at this one 2005 G35 but when i look at the pictures the front bumper and rear tailights look different. I always thought that these were the 2006 model bumper and tailights but the advertisement says the car is 2005 model so if anyone that knows the difference between the 2005-2006 models can you please just check out these pictures and tell me if there are 2005 models with that kind of bumper. Because ive been thinking the pictures arent of the actual car for sale and the dealer just took pics of some other 06 model or something. And if anyone has carfax can you just check if the car is clean if you have time. Thanks alot im like really paranoid about making sure the cars good.

yeah thats def an 06 unless the dealer went through all that trouble converting the headlights, tailights, front bumper AND spoiler! goodluck on your search and too bad your in virginia since my car is right around that price!

its an o6, but production for the 06 started in september of 05, thats why they are saying 05

 

hey i actually live in jersey or else i would definetly think about your coupe. I love those black powdercoated rims with the chrome lip Im thinking of doing that to my rims when i get the G. Did you paint it yourself or get it done?
so the car in the picture is actually the car they are selling rite?
and do you guys know if the carfax is clean?

 

haha thanks, i had them powdercoated at a shop, but no the pictures shown is NOT the car they are selling, they are advertising an 05 but showing pics of an 06
