I just ran a Karpower using the VIN, but it didn't auto populate the trim level. If it's just the base model then wholesale book is 25,700, if it's the journey then it's 26,000. I'm pretty sure the '07+ model years have an "S" after G35 if they are the sport model, so I don't think this one is. Since this car is either a trade in or an auction car I would offer them 24k, as they are probably only into the vehicle for 22k max.

Duc817,
Acarnes83 is right $22k.. IF THAT. My father is a dealer as well and I could get 08 G35s for $18k we'll sell it for 23-25k. Without putting ANY money and maybe $200-300 in advertisements. I suggest going to a non franchised dealer(used auto lot and one that doesnt deal with luxury cars, in the city or ghetto) and asking the owner if he could get you a specific car from the dealer auctions and you'll pay him $2000 on top of price he wins it at. If you going to a Nissan/Infiniti dealer and looking at CPO they aren't going to budge on price.
I signed up because I'm about to pick up a low mileage 05' G35 for around $11k and came upon this section, Rule of thumb is whatever you see a car listed at cut it in half and thats what they payed if its a newer car 07-08 then cut $8-10k and thats what they usually paid.I wouldn't of said anything until mister Infiniti was either lying or doesnt know the real facts.
A Nissan GTR in white went for $55,730, Bentley Continental 4dr Flyer went for $58k, Lotus Elise $32k at the Manheim luxury auction on thursday. 03-07 G35s go for $8k-15k depending on mileage, new and used 08s go for 16-20k. According to national auction average MMR. These are cars that are either new, test drivers, trade-ins, floor models, off Lease, Repo, Turn ins or Buy backs
In a nut shell: You should be able to get 1 at a dealer for $23-24k bringing your own financing and no trades. Enjoy
