We bought from Infiniti of Fairfield (California) through their internet department. Quoted us $2000 below invoice from the get go and we were able to get it down ~400 more without much haggling. Definitely more straight forward than the other two Sacramento area dealers I contacted.

Nice deal! I wish I had seen your deal before getting mine!

I paid 36.6k for Sedan with Premium/Nav/Sport/Kickplates/some alarm enhancement. Obviously before tax+title+etc.

This wasn't financed so I got $2k incentive.

I'm loving it so far!

now infiniti has $2500 incentive.

i wouldn't be surprised if they upped it to $4000 again.

yeah year out it'll probably be somethig close to it.

Just have to have the car you actually want. Last year the g37 coming out made it kind of easy to find a well equipped G35 to take advantge of the 4k + 0.9. The G37 production numbers are a little on the low side this year... I couldn't say how well your selection would be come labor day.

did you get 0% financing or get the factory-dealer rebate?

they weren't giving me a very good rate so I just took the financing. That's where they botched my app, they didn't look at all my options correctly. apparently with a little more down I would've qualified. make sure you figure out how you're going to pay for it before sign anything. do the math for the financing vs the cash back.

if you qualify for anything under 5% the cash back is worth more. and you can always lump sum to save even more.

the cash is definitely better, especially with the lowass 3% CD bank rates.

$4000 would be killer on the 2009 leftovers when the 2010 refresh comes out.

well that's the thing
last year they went 4000 cash w/ 0.9% or 8000 cash or something

right now it's $2500 cash or 2.9/60.

the lowest car loan you can get now is about 4.24% from B of A, but seriously nobody qualifies for that so you're looking at a 5.25% from most lenders.
so at the end of the day it's about the same

the rebates essentially make the dealership want to give you a better deal selling the car more easily. ess it's money in their pocket for whatever price they sell the car for. so like ok sure they sell the car @ invoice. They're still pocketing 2500 bucks either way. that's why only during clearance time are they willing to lend money and give you a bonus. cause once the model year turns, they're pretty much going to be "used" cars anyways.

$39,999 OTD for a journey w/ premium, navi, tire+wheel, splash guards, trunk goodies.

On my '06 G35 6MT they gave me high kbb for it - taking the remainder of the loan.

Kweegi, that's one hell of a deal!

MSRP Including Destination: $41,315.00

what's the infiniti loyalty rebate? and why doesn't every dealer do this... No dealership will give me a straight answer. they all deny knowing what "conquest cash" and "loyalty cash" is.

i don't think we'll be seeing $4000 incentives this year, with the bank rates gone to sh*t.

last year, 3-year bank CD's were at 5% around this time. If you borrowed $40000 at 0%APR from Nissan, and put your own $40000 into a CD, you'd get like $6000 interest over 3 years, which would be much better than taking that $4000 cash incentive.

This year, bank CD's are crap and they are still going down. and the infiniti cash incentives seem to reflect that.
