If im not mistaken....the car is incredibly reliable as far as engine components and transmission. Its listed as one of the best used cars to buy. I dont think you will have problems as long as you run carfax and make sure its a clean car...

Im just about to buy a G35 within the next few weeks, so I've researched for months. I'm looking for a 2005 or 2006. They have nicer interior materials compared with 03-04 versions. Im leaning toward a 2006 because I'd kind of like bluetooth and the projector headlights (which are supposed to be much improved). I like the 2003-2005 spoiler though...not the 2006 spoiler. So I will probably trade spoilers with someone on here. Im going with a manual car as well. I guess it just depends on what options you want. Prices are right though.

If you get a 6MT 2005 and up you need to get it under 70,000 miles because you will need the warranty to get the Oil consumption test in case your car has it so you can get the engine replaced.

Any 2003-2004 and 2005+ autos you can buy with any mileage you want, all you have to worry about it basic problems like clutch, etc.
