Thinking of turning in the G..

K i've had the G for less than a year..I love it and all.
plus i have my autox/project hatch...and my gf's car to take around

i think i should downgrade for a bit and buy another G down the road.just to free up some financial stuff..

i owe 17gs on my 03' bank leined...

whats my best option lets say i wanna get a cheaper car or let go of the car all together.
can i bring it to the dealer and have them take it back? (sorry if that sounds stupid) but they do have the lein on the car (well a bank does) or will i have to sell it privately/trade it in at a dealer(but still owe the difference at the bank)

just trying to figure out my best solution/options

thanks guys...sad to see the car go.but the longer i keep it..i feel its not the right move..

you will have to pay the differance if you owe 17 grand then youl have to sell the car for over 17 thousand and buy out the lease then start over witha new car..... i did it with an 03 celica that i only had for 8 months....

thats true. the same thing. i pay the difference, but still owe thesame for the cheaper car..hmmm..adding up to the same price pretty much.

maybe ill try to refinance the car first

i know the the value of 03s is around 13-15K if that...so i know ill be at a lost no matter what.

what's the interest on the loan?

even if you refinance the best you can get now a days is like 4.5%. with the earned interest now a days you're better off just paying it off and save on the financing.

but yeah that's the sucky thing about buying the more expensive cars. you're kind of stuck with it. esp when the manufacturers do a couple generation changes on you... value just drops....
