Go or No Go?

Went into the dealer and talked some numbers. List price is 24,995 which I think is kinda high from the start. I said maybe 7500 down and he gave me a price of either 389 or 309 a month (terrible hand writing, couldn't tell haha).
This comes out to close to 30k i think which is absolutely CRAZY. Ive talked to the head salesmen and he said the price is neg. so...
What should I offer, and what do you think is the price of the car I should pay? BTW- I might get the extended warranty added on to what it already has left, good idea?

black/black and 6spd are going to demand a premium, plus it's an 07 with only 22k miles.
I think they're 25,000 out the door is a very decent price. I think you'd be VERY LUCKY to get them down to 22 or 23,000.
