Extended Warranty Question

Hi guys, have any of you purchased extended warranties after buying your used G35's? I am in the process of searching for the right car but I am nervous about owning these cars out of warranty. Which companies would you recommend for the warranty and is the warranty even worth it? Appreciate all comments thanks.

I quit buying extended waranties years ago on my cars. IMHO they are mostly a rip-off unless you buy an absolute lemon which are far and few between these days. I have spent a lot more money on warranties than I gotten out of them in repairs.

it depends where you get your warranty from.. My credit union offers warranties from CUNA Mutual which is an insurance co. thats been around for nearly 50 years. Make sure you purchase it from a reputable company thats been around for a while. If they shut down in say number of years, you'll be SOL if something breaks down. Some extended warranties offered by Dealers through these 3rd party companies are like this. Plus the salesman will charge you on top of the warranty.
