Question QUESTION ABOUT 05 and 06 G35 Coupes

Hey Guys,

I am looking to buy my G within the next two months and thus have been doing alot of reading. I ran across a couple reviews, most creditable from a "LemonAid" Report. What surprised me was that the car was rated below average due to reliability. Apparently these two years have issues with excessive fuel/oil consumption and abnormal tire wear due to some kind of factory alignment issues. I am really wondering if these claims are pervasive. Have any of you experienced these issues? Are these problems easy to fix permanently? And is the 2007 model that much more reliable?

Thanks for your help

look up oil consumption. It's been happening to some 05+ 6MT's which have the REV up motor.

Re-alignment with new (non factory) tires should fix the tire wear issue. Excessive oil consumption, if I'm not mistaken, only affects a small percentage and can be fixed under factory warranty.
