Looking to get a G35!

So, im looking for a G35 after loosing my Pontiac g6 gt coupe - yes i want an upgrade.:P

anyway, im looking to get an 04 or older and not looking to spend more than 17 k (Canadian)

I have been mainly considering 03 and 04 so i can do some mods without waiting longer.

so to the question!...whats a good price?!...i have been seeing 04s-03s for anything from asking 15000 to 24000...i have checked online at value finders but cant really find a reliable one or know what site is good over what isnt.

also, would this be the most popular / best forum for the g35? (just found this on google)

There were very minor changes 03 and 05. Headlights changed I believed, and a few others. 03 benefit is that most if not all will come with Brembo brakes and 05 will not. I believe the 05 started the Rev-Up engine if also I'm not mistaken. Anyway get the one with the less miles either 03 or 05 get the least amount of miles possible. What ever you do get the car inspected by a different mechanic before you purchase. They will persuade you away from it by telling you that it has been safety inspected and that they did a 120 point inspection blah blah blah. Tell them that you need to get it inspected before you buy it from unbiased party simple as that. If you have semi good negotiating skills you can even get them to pay half or full :-)

Good luck

You are going to have as common problems as other used cars with same mileage have. Yes they are different brand of parts and slightly built different but at the end they are metal, plastic, etc parts that move and work hard for 60K miles, so although the engineering will make one car out last the other, and obviously driving environment (how car was treated by owners not the weather) all have affect on what problems a used car will have it is safe to say that there is no SPECIAL issues with a G35 beside normal wear and tear like any other used car. Get carfax, check them out, and get one with lowest miles
