Looking for a G35 coupe

This is my first post.
after owning seven VWs and on Audi, i'm liking the G35 Coupe a lot.

I need help picking out the right car.

In the last 10 miuntes I've just read about the rev-up oil consumption issue, bad window regulators, the ticking noise forum member( he needed a new motor) clutches dying at 60k, the tire wear + class action lawsuit... is there anything out there to watch out for? from what i've read, you guys seem to be trying to scare me off! but the car is sexy..

are the Infinity dealers honest and warranty the used cars well, or just as bad as VW dealers?

and are there better years to purchase for reliability (not just power) than others?

i still haven't gone for a test drive.

Not sure what to tell you, it's a hit or miss with these cars.

Just hit the dealer, test drive one, and don't forget about the extended warranty.

Oil Consumption are mostly on the 05+ 6mt's.

It's a nice looking car and yes, there are a few problems with the car. Also, after 65k, a lot of owners are having issues with the sparkplug seals leaking oil. It's the #6 plug. And it cost major $$$ to get it replaced since Nissan doesn't sell just the seal. You have to purchase the entire assembly.

The paint also sucks. Very soft.

Thank you! I just read about the oil pool issue too.
that doesn't seem too bad compared to the ticking cam lobe, shim thing some guy had problems with.
