Looking at a car through a carmax dealer here in socal.

Listed @ $21,000 but after taxes/registration, I'm guessing around $23,000.

- 48,000 miles
- navi, aeropackage, premium package, sports package [don't manuals already come w/ the sports package?]

I believe that there is no negotiation when it comes to buying a car @ carmax.

Is this a good/fair deal?

It is not a steal, but it is a fair price.. There is no negotiating with carmax. Usually the best way to get a steal is from a private party

I'm assuming no carfax issues, etc?

I got my 06 G35 w/ 30K miles at $20K
It is loaded with everything but navigation

 

yeah, buying via carfax assures no major problem, such as salvage/flood. both autocheck and carfax came out clean.

it's just that, after a month of searching, this is the only legitimate black/black 6mt I found in a 200 mile radius from me. I live in Los Angeles. Must I be paying that premium...

Cat, in what region do you live in? I have yet to come across a 06' with such specs for only $20k.

 

I live in Oklahoma, but I bought it from MO.(4 hours away) That is because I searched for months, waited and waited. Offer after offer, I finally got my steal! But I was finding cars like this in the 25+ range at best. which is still a fair price with the low miles.

Again, I think the deal you found is a very fair price.. just depends on how long you are waiting to find the right deal. It is easier to get them in the winter, come spring they are easier to get rid of.
