As the title suggests, I'm looking at buying a 2006 G35 coupe 6spd MT with 41k miles on it and 2 owners. The asking price is $18,450, which is just a little bit below the "good" KBB estimated Private Party value.

I've already purchased an Auto Check with it and it checks out clean.

What kind of things do I need to know about G35's in general (I'm completely new to the G-scene), and what would be a fair counter-offer?

Not sure if there is anything with the six speed that you need to know, The radios have problems, make sure the cd player is acting as it should and isnt jammed up. make sure the power windows and seats are working as they should. These are pretty reliable cars, just some silly things like that. There is also concern for oil consumption in some G's but you should still be under the warraty there, Just watch it like a hawk. I believe warranty is 6yr 70,000 miles for that problem.
