Questions about possible new car purchase....

I have been looking around for a new car recently. I have never ever had a newer car just by choice didn't want a car payment. But now has come the time to treat myself. I was very interested in the acura tl's and then I looked at the 08 and up honda accords and then i was doing my daily search for cars and stumbled across a 07 G35x with 54,190 for 17995 and I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT. I have yet to go check it out but I did a carfax on it and it has 1 owner. Only issues I have is that it is not at infiniti dealership and it has been in a accident. When looking at the warranty info on carfax it says it still has 21 months or 15,000 miles left on the drivetrain but the basic is expired. I did some searching on the internet and i seen alot of posts that nissan dealerships wont do the warranty work on infinitis has anything changed with that? I ask because I have a nissan dealership close by and the infiniti ones are 64 and 67 miles away. I guess Im looking for any incite about this purchase. What do you all. I know this a rather long post I just dont want to make a purchase and regret it. Thanks in advance for any help. Loving this forum so far and looking at some of the g35s here im really wanting this car more and more.

First never trust CARFAX and use Autocheck. (PM me if you need a report). Second the warranty is void when the car is salvage title or total loss and rebuilt. I would try to get something with low enough miles to where you can add an extended warranty through Infiniti. Do not let emotions get into the way and buy the car. Do your research about common issues and things to look out for. Have a body shop and a mechanic do an inspection before time and if possible take it to Infiniti to have the inspection done and have them pull all the service records by VIN

You can get the same deal on a car with low miles that hasn't been in an accident. I'd avoid that if I were you. Just keep searching.
