Is this G an "easy fixer"??? PICS

I'm looking at buying a 6spd sedan since my sedan is an AT. Found this car on Copart.com

I'm new to G's and I'm wondering what I would need to fix on this to have it road ready again. Please see my list below and feel free add/change whatever I'm missing! Thanks!

Hood
Grille
Passenger side fender
Headlights X2
Bumper
Bumper reinforcement?
Radiator
Raditator support
Air intake

The airbags are NOT deployed, so I assume this is a lower-speed crash??

ALSO---How do i check for frame damage??

It's kind of hard to tell strictly based on a few photos... I'd have a mechanic check it out first that knows what they're doing. In my opinion it probably wouldn't be worth it unless the price was pretty low.

I can see a car like this being a money pit.

Depends on the cost and what deals you can find on replacement parts. I don't see any frame damage in the pics but its hard to say. Make sure there are no wrinkles/creases along the sides of the subframe where the top of the fender meets the hood. Other than that there's likely no lower frame damage. Probably will need an ac condenser and radiator fan and fan shroud. Make sure there are no leaks and see if it has a clean title. Other than that looks like you got it covered on the parts list at least the major components.

Thanks, I'll check the subframe. As for parts, there really aren't many G35s aroud where I live so It may be difficult/costly to get the parts. AC compressor scares me...Is it located in the front passenger side behind the radiator?

What kind of leaks to look for and where? Like oil or gasoline? The title is a salvage title, when I fix it i think it gets inspected and then re-titled as rebuilt title IIRC.

Would the owner part out? Would be much better if you could just buy the trans, ecu, interior pieces, etc

Yes, but looks can be deceiving. My advice to you is to know exactly what you're getting yourself into.

Why would I want this? Just so I can sell the parts?

Sure. In high end autos some people make a living off of it.

IMO "frame damage" is any bent metal that is welded to the car. Strut towers and the rails the subframe mounts to are examples.

My beater, in my eyes, has frame damage since the inner fender supports are deformed.

I would not buy this thing w/o an in person inspection.

But I want the car so I can drive it...really wanting a 6spd.

I would definately go check it out in person.

I wouldnt do it. Unless you know where to get all parts in advance, used. If you have to buy parts from the dealer you will pay way more than what a non-wrecked g would cost

Well I definately wouldnt buy parts at the dealer LOL.

I dont have the parts already but I'm sure I could find a donor car somewhere and part the rest(at least I think I could)...

Is it just me, or is the engine cocked to the right?

Hard to tell from the photo, may just be the lighting. I have yet to see this in person but I'll try to next weekend most likely.

Adro, I didn't mean to buy the whole car, use the transmission parts, then resell. I meant to see if he's open to parting out, meaning buying only the transmission related parts, then swapping it into your car. because if you were planning to fix that car I wouldn't go for it.
