I am currently looking to buy a g35 to customize it and make some cool modifications and upgrades. What year of infiniti g35 do you think is best for modifications and upgrades?

 

It really doesn't matter. 03-05 guys upgrade to 06 headlights, sometimes 06 tail lights. Sometimes 06-07guys "upgrade" to 03-05 spoiler (if they want a spoiler). 05-07 6mt's have one more performance mod to do over 03-04 mt's. It really doesn't matter. But 06+ sport package bumpers have no lips available for it

MREV2, I mean you could do it on a 03-07 AT but it only makes like 2 whp so for the price most people dont get it. On the other hand, on a 05-07 MT the MREV2 combined with the plenum spacer you'll see much better gains (not sure exactly how much). I'm talking model years in coupes by the way, so for the 07 I wouldn't be referencing the newer body style G35 sedan.

 

I was unaware of that. I agree with everything else you said, I have an 06 6MT and I wish I had the older spoiler.

 

Yeah I agree the 03-05 looks better. Maybe someone in your area would trade? But at least with your 06 you got the better headlights/taillights
