Do a search on this forum to get the details about problems and differences between the pre-05. I have an 06 and it has better interior and projector lights/new style tail lights. If you have that much cash, you can find yourself a pretty nice G35. Good luck.

I like the 03-04 but the interior and headlights are definatly better on the 05s and up but 16k you can get a real nice one especially on the forums you can find tastefully modded gs for decent prices

My 03 G35
I might be a bad person to talk to because I am on the cheaper end of it but I got mine for $6,500 with 134K on it. Year and 1/2 later I have not had any major problems with it and I am at 150someK.

It did have a paint issue but I plan to have it repainted. I have a friend that owns a body shop.

Sell points for me was I didn't care how amny miles were on it. It's a great car and will last so who cares (in my eyes).

The age didn't really matter cuz I love the body style and it looks better then most new cars.

The CD play was already broken (commen problem in this car) and I didn't want the stock CD player anyways. I always use Blue Tooth and wanted to get a better unit anyways.

New CD player was $300 with the kit that was like $100 or less. There are two types of kits i went with the cheaper one. Can't remember the name of it now.
