That would be me, and it does on old ^*$ tires. Goodbye sidewall.

Are you familiar with how any alcohol/petroleum based product works to "clean the surface" it's applied to?

Just spend a couple dollars more and buy a proper sealant/protectant. These has been multiple multiple threads on this. There is also entire forums dedicated to cleaning supplies and techniques.

Thousands and thousands of people have noticed, that is why it is common knowledge among car communities.

Dash cracking is common on 2006's? That's the first I'm hearing of it. Just checked my dash, and nothing.

I also specifically avoid alcohol-based cleaners because of them being prone to removing moisture and causing cracking. I've only used lexol products on my dash.

Btw, nice clean car. When I was trying to sell a Mustang years ago that was just as clean, I got quite a bit of calls from dealers off CL that were pretty blunt about beating up my price and low-balling me. I guess it's a common tactic. Still left a bad taste in my mouth

It's 05 as well. Mines is split along the bottom edge near the silver trim so it's hard to see.

idk man I googled it and its all mixed. most saying its caused them no problems after years of use like myself. maybe at one point years ago it had harsh chemicals but they've since fixed that but the negative press still haunts them

from armor alls faq

"What are the ingredients in Armor AllŽ Protectants? Do they include silicone, alcohol, ultraviolet inhibitors and petroleum distillates?

Armor AllŽ Leather Care contains lanolin and natural moisturizers, and UV inhibitors. Armor AllŽ Leather Care Protectant Spray and Leather Wipes contain water-based silicone emulsions, surfactants, and ultraviolet light inhibitors. Armor AllŽ Original Shine Protectant contains water-based silicone emulsions, surfactants, and ultraviolet light inhibitors, humectants, dispersants and gloss enhancers. Armor AllŽ Ultimate Clean Protectant contains water-based silicone emulsions, surfactants, ultraviolet light inhibitors and a fragrance."

granted Idk wat those things consists of so if anyone wants to skool me on which term means harsh chemicals feel free to do so
